Dear customers and friends,
First and foremost, I would like to thank you
for your great supports in the past 8 years. With deepest regret, I wish to
inform all that I have decided to temporarily shutdown BabySayang online store
for at least a year from October 2009 onwards to enjoy motherhood. After 8 long
years, I am now expecting my 2nd baby daughter in mid October. My
eldest is now in P2 and school life can be pretty stressful these days.
Having run BabySayang almost single handedly all these years, I do feel it is a
good time to take a break from running the business especially with a coming
newborn. I can still recall those earliest days when we started the retail shop
and online store - sleepless nights uploading products into the online store,
putting up last minute displays at the store while our 6-month-old spent the
night there on a playpen, dragging along my baby on delivery and collection
errands and breastfeeding in parking lots. Interesting but no thanks! This time,
I just want to relax around the baby and listen to my elder chatterbox
“complaining” about her school days. After such a big gap, I’m sure my
firstborn will need more attention than ever. Looking at her growing and
maturing each day, I really do not want to miss out on all the fun, sorrows,
headaches, heartaches, stresses and all the terms you can find in the dictionary
associated with parenthood. I’m sure all parents shared the same sentiments.
Since last year, I have been seriously thinking of winding down the business for
good but on second thought, it was my hubby’s brainchild and I couldn’t
bring myself to do it. Since then, we have been looking around for related
products to integrate into the main product line but instead of finding new
products, we found something better – a new member of the family!
At this moment, we have no firm plan on when we will re-open the e-store and
whether we will still be in the “baby” business. Do keep a lookout for any
announcement in our website. Please note that our company contact number
62952523 and fax 62870336 will no longer be contactable from Oct’09 onwards.

any time if you need to source for any products and I’ll be glad to help in
anyway I can. I’ll also welcome emails from fellow parents who wish to share
their experiences or grievances with me :-).
Meanwhile, we hope you can find something you need from our clearance sale. Most
of the ex-stock products are on clearance up to 70% discount and for those item which we
no longer has in-stock, I will be taking them off from the list progressively.
Before I sign off, let me take this opportunity to once again thank all our
customers, friends and suppliers for supporting us at BabySayang all these
years. I would also like to thank my hubby and my “part-time” deliveryman,
Eric, for being so supportive.
